Safe mode
A safety net for ambitious settings.

1. Save a baseline
Back up your site and save a known-good configuration before a performance experiment.
2. Test one change
Apply one advanced setting at a time. The planned Safe mode checks pages and compares behavior before accepting the change.
3. Restore when needed
If a check fails, restore the previous settings. Sample workflow: exclude a checkout script from delay, then repeat the checkout test.
4. Review the log
Inspect the affected feature and page in Logs. Export a redacted report for support rather than sharing credentials.
